Trey is a lifelong Columbia County resident and Past President of AGS. He has spent his entire
career in financial services, currently as a commercial lender working with several local
financial institutions. He earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and a
MBA from Augusta State University. His genealogical journey began with a family tree on
his Kennedy line prepared by his great-uncle. As a result, he focused his research in
Abbeville and Old Ninety-Six districts and in Greenwood and McCormick Counties in SC,
proving the relationships in this family heirloom and building upon it. He has since
followed other lines, venturing into Duluth, Minnesota, and eventually hopping across the
pond to Cornwall. A large amount of his research has focused on his maternal grandmother's
line, spending several years researching records in Germany.
