   Tour of the old ghost town of Shelton and the Shivar Springs Bottling Company
   Conducted by Bryan Greer, Saturday morning. This includes forest hiking so wear rugged shoes,
   protective clothing, and bring sunscreen, insect repellent and water.

 Chester County
   Landsford Canal State Park is an amazing place to see the old stonework ruins of the 1800s canal
   system & beautiful views of the Catawba River’s rocky shoals.

 Fairfield County
   The Town of Winnsboro abounds with architecturally interesting homes and buildings,
   Winnsboro Facts, Town of Winnsboro, South Carolina
   Fairfield County Museum, SC Railroad Museum, Town Clock & more.
   Fairfield County Museum, built 1830, once housed a young ladies’ boarding school,
   run by Catharine & George Ladd.
   You can see historical collections spanning from the area’s pre-history up until the early 20th century.
   Come spend an afternoon at the South Carolina Railroad Museum in Winnsboro. See freight cars,
   passenger cars & even a real steam engine on display, & you can ride the old train.

 Kershaw County
   Historic Camden one of the oldest cities in SC & part of the Old English District.
   Historic Camden Foundation – A Revolutionary War Site and Battlefield
   Downtown Camden has shops, restaurants, art, antiques, music, movies, & more.

 Newberry County
   Downtown Newberry is a true old-fashioned town center where neighbors meet for business &
   enjoyment, the community gathers for festivals and events, & a picturesque outdoor venue
   with dozens of shops, restaurants, & a world-famous opera house.
   Enoree River Vineyards, east of Newberry, SC, Wine & Events.

 Union County
   Rose Hill Plantation Historic Site preserves the early 1800s Gist family plantation.
   Visitors can walk the elegant grounds, tour the plantation home, admire its beautiful rose
   gardens & explore other original plantation buildings.

 York County
   Kings Mountain National Military Park. It preserves the site of the 1780 battle that was
   the first major patriot victory to occur after the British invasion of Charleston, SC.
